About Dr. Fedorchuk

Dr. Curtis Fedorchuk is the founder of Better Health by Design, a premier chiropractic wellness center located in Cumming, Georgia. Married close to 30 years and the proud father of two children, he has practiced focused spinal rehabilitation and wellness in North Georgia for 24 years.

A graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic, Dr. Fedorchuk is Advanced Certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®) and served as an instructor at the world’s largest chiropractic university for five years while maintaining a full-time practice. Recognized for his extraordinary contributions to the field, he was granted permanent U.S. residency through an EB-1 Visa (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

As a prolific researcher, clinician, and innovator, Dr. Fedorchuk has authored or co-authored 58 peer-reviewed publications on spinal health, physiology, pathology, and rehabilitation techniques. His work has been published in prestigious Q1 medical journals, including the European Spine Journal and the Journal of Clinical Medicine. He has also created proprietary software and developed specialized techniques for the cervical and lumbar spine used around the world. Dr. Fedorchuk has presented at numerous international conferences and has been honored with Researcher of the Year awards on five separate occasions from three different research organizations. He has collaborated with leading academic institutions such as Emory University and the University of Colorado Boulder and contributes to major chiropractic best-practice guidelines.

Dr. Fedorchuk is deeply involved in advancing the profession through leadership and education. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for CBP Nonprofit and as President of the Institute for Spinal Health and Performance (ISHP) Nonprofit (www.ishpnonprofit.com). He previously served as Research Chair for the Georgia Chiropractic Council and regularly teaches continuing education seminars across North America and as far as Puerto Rico.

A passionate chiropractic advocate since childhood, Dr. Fedorchuk credits the chiropractic lifestyle for his own vibrant health. In his free time, he enjoys ice hockey, mountain biking, snowmobiling, rock climbing with his son, and flying as a licensed helicopter pilot. He previously competed in a wide range of sports, including volleyball, basketball, soccer, motocross, duathlons, and long-distance cycling — including the challenging Six Gap Century Ride in Dahlonega, Georgia.

In the practice, they consistently praise Dr. Fedorchuk’s upbeat presence, gentle approach, and genuine care. His meticulous attention to detail and clinical excellence ensure every patient receives the precise care they need — whether through his expertise or an appropriate referral.
